Well for digital manipulation, you get to take something that is somewhat fake out drawn out and “manipulate” it or make it real but skillfully. Before in the 1920’s, it was harder digitally manipulate photography but since technology still advancing today digital manipulation is still being improved and better. So every fake photo can become a reality. “Photography is an art form in itself, but with the correct editing, something entirely new can be created.” http://dm.greenville.edu/2016/09/the-ethics-of-digital-manipulation/
When manipulating something, you take one thing and edit it or create something in a skillful way. It’s basically how you have the power to change something you don’t want into something you do want.
